Gareth Pugh is one of my favourite designers because his collections are very exciting and eccentric. His fall/winter collection compose of black, gray and oxidize iron palette. He showed his collection in 2D format, meaning no runway. In this terrible economy, it a good way to save but I’m sure that’s not his reasons. He is there to surprise and yes we were.
His collection for the fall are really getting more wearable. If you’ve seen some of his other designs, you would know. There are massive headpiece and symmetric/futuristic pieces as always. Black high-waisted trousers that covers the shoes. Are those pins coming out of the dress? I’m not sure but it seems so. The cape-like coats and jackets swirling and a glimpse of his trademark – triangular patterned jacket and coat. There’s the fisherman’s boots again similar to what we saw in Prada. No cool hand accessory this time like something from his spring collection which will I post soon.
Enjoy some of his collections
