Tate Modern is exhibiting his works and it would be rude not to go. I don’t know him before but now I do because of his colourful painting. It would make a good research for my colour board. I really like most of his works especially his architectural paintings. The blocks of different colours blends together and it’s not an easy thing to do. My personal favourite is ‘Eros’, I don’t know why I’m so captivated by it. Did he call it Eros because sometimes love is towering, the reason why there’s an arrow going up? I’m not sure. But in most of his works, I can somehow see that there’re chaos in most of his work that in some way creates a systematic composition. I wonder if he sees chaos in life or things and accepts it because chaos creates a balance for structure. Oh well, I just bought some postcards instead of thinking too much.
